Evaluation of changes made to my double page feature
Image usage - I have used a different image in my final double page feature. I have used a new image because my old double page feature picture was different from the pictures on the front page and on the contents page, This time round when improving my magazine I wanted to make it look like the person in the pictures had done a photoshoot for the magazine, so all the photos interlink. The new photo that I haver used is a head shot and the person in the main image for my double page is facing towards the text and I thought this was a good thing because the text is about the person in the main image and shes looking down on it and this could come across to the reader aswell and show some singificance of the position of the person in the main image. The main image is in black and white and I have done this because some of the writing for the interview is in black and the backgrounds white, so this just makes the page look more neater and the colours go well with each other. The sub image that is in the middle of the text hasent been changed from my initial double page feature because it also gos with the text.
Colour usage- On my initial double page feature the writing was red and black whilst on my new one the writing is blue and black. I have made this change because I thin the colours suit my target audience more nd the overall colour scheme of my magazine is blue white and black with some red,so I though these were the most appropriate colours. Also on my initial double page feature the colours on there were quite feminine and I waned to create some contrast, so I changed the colours to what would stereotpically seen as masculine colours and this just makes the page more interesting. Overall I think the changes I have made to my double page in colour terms has made it look more neater and professionally made.
How the main image was edited
This is the orinal image that i took to be used for my double page feature.
